The Lost Tooth

Aurora lost her first tooth today. We at first thought she had swallowed it because she came and told us her tooth was gone but she didn't know where it was. We looked everywhere, but to no avail. Then, while I was doing the dishes, I looked down and saw a small white speck on my black mat. Sure enough, her tooth. We put it under her pillow for the tooth fairy. What a milestone!

First Day of Kindergarten

I must say that I feel like somewhat of a slacker because all of my friends have already blogged about their child's first day of school. We tried to make her day special, but starting off with little white powdered donuts for breakfast and asking her what she wanted in her lunch. I think that she was more nervous than excited, but after it was all over she said she really liked school. She woke up without a fight today which I was sort of surprised because we are still on California time. She got all ready and we all, as a family, walked her to school. She was so quiet, and she told me later that there were rules and a boy in her class broke one of the rules and he had to sit on the wall. "You don't want to be sit there, mom" , she said. It was awesome to see her growing up and excited to tell me about her day at school. She took quite a nap after school along with her brother, which was great for me because I had quiet time for about and hour. It was a bitter sweet day today, but I'm so happy that she was happy and had a great day.

This is going to be a quick post of our camping trip. We are in California for two weeks visiting my parents and we went camping for four days. The kids were so dirty but they had a great time. I wish my husband could have joined us, he would have had a lot of fun as well. Maybe next time sweetheart. We love you so much and we miss you just the same!!!

PS. As for this pictures of me...just keep in mind we were camping:)

New Pictures

I took some pictures of my kids today up at the San Antonio Temple. Noah wasn't really cooperating but I think that they turned out good anyway.

Memory Lane...Thanks Mindy!

Down Memory Lane

Okay, I'm going to try this too. I got this from my friend Mindy's blog and thought it looked interesting, so all of my faithful blog visitors better be cooperative. Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

C'mon now, anything funny, strange, cool, embarrassing, or awful you remember about me?? This could be interesting...

Maybe this is lame...

You might think this is a lame thing to post..but I just had to. I have friends that swear by the Bare minerals makeup. I have very sensitive skin and can't switch anything without breaking out. I was a little skeptical about bare minerals because it's powder...yes powder, and we all know that when you use powder it just disappears after awhile and you have to reapply. Well, I decided to give it a try. There was a 60 day money back guarantee even if I used all the makeup. This way I could try it and see if it was really as good as my friends said it was....I was so surprised....IT IS AWESOME!! By far the best make-up I have ever used. And the powder goes on like a cream. It lasts all day and your skin looks amazing. I won't ever use another make-up again. It may be a little expensive for some, but I thought $60 for 2 foundations, concealer, bronzer, and compact wasn't too much. Anyway, just had to post about my knew love...
