Halloween Party and the Baptist Church

So, a few of my friends and I workout at the Baptist Church. They invited us to their annual Fall Festival. The kids got to dress up and play games for candy. Aurora is Princess Aurora this year (AKA Sleeping Beauty), and Noah is a Cowboy. He didn't want to take a picture next to his sister, that's why he is crying....but he is SO CUTE!

Halloween Party

We throw a pumpkin carving party every year. Even though we have any been in Houston for 2 months, we decided to throw a halloween/Pumpkin carving party. It was out biggest yet. we had 22 adults and 10 kids. It was a lot of fun. We can't wait until our next one!

My New Bathroom

Most of you won't care, but we re-did our guest bathroom, and I love it! I wanted to share with all of you, what a great husband I have, he did everything...well, almost everything....I picked the color and painted, and he put everything in the bathroom(something, I won't do, well...can't do:))

Okay, so I got tagged...thanks Brit. So here's how it works....

1. I love to party, I mean who doesn't? I will give any excuse to go out and play. Isn't that what life is all about. Life should be fun....it's too short to take everything too seriously.
2. My closest friends already know this about me, and most of them think its gross, but I like Peanut Butter and Miracle Whip sandwiches. For those of you that haven't tried it, you can't say anything until you do. Come on, it won't kill you, just take a "no thank you bite".
3. I am obsessed with Edward. If you don't know who that is, I am sorry for you:) (okay, so I am really not obsessed, but I really liked the book).
4. I met my husband on the internet. No, it wasn't some freakish website, it was LDSchat. We only talked on the internet once and then talked on the phone and we both went to BYU together, so it's really not that weird.
5. I love chocolate...if I see it, I will eat it. (Isn't this true for most people?)
6. I love Christmas, there is just something about the feeling around the Holiday. I love presents (especially when they are for me), I love giving presents....everyone just seems nicer around Christmas, and plus...there are usually a lot of parties and a lot of Chocolate!!

Houston Rain

It rained today so hard that you couldn't see in front of you. I have come to the realization that it rains a lot in Houston. I don't mind too much because it beats it being 90 degrees with 99% humidity. It cools off a lot when it rains. To show everyone what I mean when it rains A LOT in Houston, take a look at my picture. What you are looking at is my backyard with a lake forming. Yes, that is water out by my fence. And yes, it is deep enough to cover your ankles. Gotta love Houston!

The Temple

Cory and I and the kids took a trip to the Dallas Temple this weekend for a sealing. We had some pictures taken of us as a family. Cory and I were sealed in the Dallas Temple seven years ago. It was great to be there again and remember that wonderful day!

Our Kids

Kids make you laugh...and I feel that ours make us laugh all of the time. In one of these pictures is Noah wearing his sisters easter hat and carrying a flower. He came down the stairs one night like it was no big deal what he had on. And was getting mad that we were laughing. I LOVE BEING A PARENT!

The Park

Here are some pictures of the kids playing at the park on Conference Sunday. It had rained, but that didn't deter the kids from playing on the wet slides...it was a lot of fun. We love that park!

My Friends

I just wanted to thank all of the great friends that I have...you all are so wonderful. I miss you all so much and am so greatful that you are all in my life. You all truly help me be a better person. I love all of you!!
