We visited the Houston National Cemetery today to give the kids an idea of what celebrating Memorial Day is all about. It was quite a sight. It wasn't as big as Arglington National Cemetery, but pretty close. The pictures just don't do justice!

Astros

Cory got free tickets to the Atros game so we all went. IT was SO much fun. We stayed for the entire game (surprised me!) We ate hot dogs and watched the game. We had great seats. We are excited to go again hopefully soon!

My beautiful girl

My friend Brittany bought this dress while she was here and left it so I could take some pictures of Aurora in it. It is a hand made dress from the 60's, it is beautiful! I needed something to put over her shoulders but couldn't find anything that seemed to go.

Can you believe it?
Most of you know that my sweet Noah has been a vegetarian from birth...figuratively speaking. He doesn't eat meat, and believe me we have tried EVERYTHING! Well, maybe this crazy phase is coming to an end. Tonight, for the first time since he was a baby, Noah ate chicken!!!
PS. After he ate about 3 bites he ate a potato and gagged and threw up...oh well, it was a start
Oh and PS Again...I asked him if his tongue was red to keep him focused on something else so he wouldn't gag..so much for that!

Aurora's room

Ok, so I have preliminary pictures of Aurora's room. There are still a few final touches. The main thing that I have been working on is her chandelier. I LOVE IT! It has turned out so cute ( I hope you agree). Once the room is complete I will post a new picture. Aurora's feels like a true princess with her chandelier hanging over her bed.
