The Beach

We went to the Beach this weekend with some friends. We had such a great time despite the long drive in traffic on the way there and on the way home, and the slight tragedy we had to Bailey's foot. (Sorry you guys had to spend those 3 hrs at the after hrs clinic). We are looking forward to going this summer again. Oh and Thanks Bonnie for taking the pictures since I forgot my camera!

My kids

I am so in love with my kids. And as difficult as they can be sometimes I wouldn't give them up for anything. They are constantly making us laugh and smile. The thought of them puts a smile on my face every day. I just love them so much. Here are a few pictures I took of them recently. Oh and a video....aren't they just cute?

Our Home: Part II

I was planning on posting more pictures after my last post quite quickly, but you all know how motherhood goes and running a household. So I am know getting back to it. I just have to start by saying...I love my home. There are however some things that need major improving. And as of right now I am happy with how things are coming along. They are taking a little bit longer than I would like them to, but I guess you have to have both time and money and most of the time I seem to never have either. My latest project has been my laundry room. I'm loving it, not loving it so much that it makes me want to actually DO laundry, but love it nonetheless. So here are some pictures I took today of my home (it's actually clean!).

I think I'm done. As of right now, I'm satisfied with her room. I'm sure I'll think of something to change, but right now...I LOVE IT!

Two projects and a cat

I have completed two projects that feel like they took me way longer than they should've. The first is the dress that I made Aurora. I think I took it apart 3 times before it was complete. But it turned out so cute! I don't think I'll be making another one anytime soon, I need to let the frustration fade a little before I do so. The next was I painted a tree on Aurora's wall. I love how it turned out!! Complete with a pink bird perched on the branches.
And Lastly...a cat. A cat has adopted our family. It is a great cat and perfect for the kids. It's only been a day so we'll see if anyone claims it in the next week. If not, he might be the newest member of our family.

yummy soup

It has been so cold here that I needed a soup night. I threw together what I had in my cabinet and it turned out so yummy I had to share!
egg noodles(I used egg white ones)
water(just enough to cover the noodles)
cream of chicken
cream of celery
cut up carrots
cut up celery
onion
meat (I used left over roast)
salt
garlic
pepper
odobo seasoning


simmer all together and enjoy!
