First Day of School

Aurora and Noah both started school today. Aurora is now in 1st grade and Noah is Pre-K. Aurora is all day, while Noah only goes from 12:30-3:30. It was quiet in my house while they were gone. I did get a lot done with Grant taking a nap, however I missed the both of them very much.

A Glimpse into the lives of the Sells

Okay, so here is just an idea of the conversations that go on in my family. This is more a glimse into the lives of motherhood, rather than a life in our family. I am sure that most of you moms out there have had conversations like these, or been witness to them. Here goes...

Me: "Aurora go clean the room"
Aurora: "Grant got into the laundry room"
Me: " ok, well get him out and then go clean that room"
Aurora: "But I have to go potty first"
(goes into the bathroom)
Aurora: "EWWWW, someone didn't flush the toilet"
Me: "It was Noah"
Aurora: "But it was poop!"
Me: "well, just flush it and go to the bathroom"
Aurora: "It was diarrhea!"
(Noah yelling from the other room)
Noah:" NO, I don't have diarrhea, MOM, I don't have Diarrhea...I have poops, OK!"
Me: "ok, Noah".

Lemonade

Bailey, Kael, Aurora & Noah decided Wed that they were going to have a lemonade stand on Fri. So here they are with their stand. They ended up moving down the street on the corner to get more customers. They were so excited that they were making money. They even ate their lunch down there. It made for a quiet house and I was able to get a lot done.


UPDATE: Today's total: $16 divided by 4 kids...$4/each kid. NOT BAD!

Bath Time

Grant cracks me up in the bath. He refuses to sit up, he just loved to lay down. I think he likes kicking his feet, I try sitting him up so he can splash and kick, but he just isn't having it. He is so funny!

Girls night out

Aurora and I went on a mother daughter date tonight. It was so fun to get all dressed up together, do our hair and get our purses to go out just the girls. We went to Cheddar's and it was a lot of fun and yummy food. Aurora was on her best behavior. We decided next time we are going to the movies too. It was so fun to just hang out with her alone and have some one on one time. Here is our picture while we waited (40 min) for our table.
