Mexico

So, after much anticipation, Cory and I finally went on a honeymoon, and on our 7th year anniversary. We decided to go to Playacar, which is just 5 min from Playa del Carmen or 40 miles south of cancun. We went for 6 days and 5 nights at an all inclusive resort. It was a blast. We left the kids with their grandparents in San Antonio. I've posted a few pictures, I haven't finished downloading all of them yet. Keep checking because I have a lot of them!!

Aurora

For Aurora's class room at school they were asked to decorate an ornament to place on their classroom Christmas tree, (it's a paper tree, and paper ornaments). They brought them home to decorate, so today Aurora and her friend Callie decorated them. Aurora was so proud of her ornament. I must say she did a good job. I took pictures of them decorating them, a
nd showing the finished product.

Tree
Okay, so I couldn't stand our fake tree...it had seen its last day. So, we went out and bought a real tree, and re-decorated it. Here it is. I LOVE IT!!! I don't know if I can go back owning a fake tree again. The real is so much better! The picture of Aurora is her being mad because she can't put the an
g
el on the top. Noah was doing it this time, because she did it last time...

Aurora's class
So my daughters class put on a little thing yesterday for Grandparents day, since she doesn't have any grandparents here, I went instead. They sang the cutest song about a turkey doing the tango. (I almost cried) She is getting so big! They made turkey feathers this week, and brought them home to decorate. Can you guess which one is hers? Well, if you don't know my daughter, her favorite color is pink. So she had to have pink feathers. Hers is at the top covered in light and dark pink f
eathers.
(Video of dance to come later)

My Kids

I have to say that I have the cutest kids. I was mowing our lawn the other morning, and Noah came out and propped himself on the front porch to watch. Following his lead, Aurora came out with all of her blankets and also watched from the front porch. I didn't know that watching someone mow the lawn could be so interesting...
