Sleeping

Noah has been so difficult to get to bed...the process isn't hard, it's getting him to stay in his room that is hard. He just wants to read more books or play. We have found him many times in our bed, or under Aurora's bed, but the other night, Cory called me upstairs to see where our son was sleeping. He was so cute. He loves his sister so much that he just wanted to be with her. I couldn't help but take a picture of them. I am surprised that Aurora didn't come and tell us (by that, I mean yelling down the stairs at us that Noah is in her room). She must have been asleep when Noah crawled in her bed. THEY ARE SO CUTE!!!

PS. My above post talks about Aurora's hair curled, you can kindof see it curly while she is asleep.

curls

Aurora wanted to curl her hair, but she can't sit still long enough for me to use a curling iron, so we put rag curls in her hair after her bath and let her sleep in them....she loved it! I don't have an after picture, I'll take one when we do it again this weekend.

"Peace Be Still"

I have been wanting a painting of Christ in my home for a long time. Cory and I could never agree on one, until we saw the painting by Arnold Friberg. They were just too much, however, I was finally able to buy one just after Conference. Cory bought it for me for my birthday! I LOVE IT!! It came today!!!! So here is my painting...it's quite large, but it's hard to tell from the picture:)

Aurora and Noah

My kids are just the cutest...Aurora has become such a mom, and today she was telling Noah what they were going to do. They first played in her closet and pretended to sleep and then she put him in her zip-up hoodie and they were now camping. So she got them water bottles and they were playing in the Family room....Noah just follows her around and loves doing everything she does.

Dancing

Aurora loves to dance...she always has, but lately she has been really into High School Musical Two...she's 5 going on 12...She loves to dance to the music (which she picked out for herself for her birthday present). Here she is dancing to her "favorite" CD. She is so dramatic:)

Falling Asleep

Noah has been so difficult getting to sleeping lately. He just keeps getting out of his room. I went upstairs the other night to turn off his light when I found that he wasn't in his room, nor was he in ours. So after walking into Aurora's room this is what I saw....
He was asleep under Aurora's bed...it was too cute!!

Aurora's Birthday

We celebrated Aurora's birthday this week twice...once with my parents and once with Cory's parents and her cousins...she felt so special this week. I can't believe that she is five and will be starting kindergarten this fall. Feels like yesterday that she came into our lives. I love her so much and has been such a blessing in our family. She is our little princess and lives up to every meaning of the word.
