IT'S OVER!!! Well, Sortof...

Cory graduated law school yesterday, and we couldn't be more excited! It was a LONG trying three years but SO worth the wait. What an accomplishment! WE are so proud of all the hardwork and LONG days he put in. Law school is hard on the entire family, but I can't imagine how hard it was on Cory. For those of you who don't know Cory not only went to school full time, but he worked atleast 20hrs/week during his 2nd and 3rd year and also during his second year he worked as a GA (graduate assistant) and worked in the immigration clinic, but he also seemed to find some time for us. Which I was so greatful for. There were countless days and nights that I wouldn't see him until the next day. He missed family functions, birthdays, mother's day, and countless other family moments. It was so hard not having him around. Yesterday after the graduation I was talking to the kids in the car and said, "when you graduate from school, it means your done, you don't have to go to school anymore", without skipping a beat Aurora says,"and you get to stay home!" They have missed having dad around (he's a lot more fun then I am), and I have missed having him around. Even thought it's not truly "over", (we still have the bar to study for and pass), this part is, and we are SO excited!!!! So Cory, here's to you and all you do!!! Thanks for sacrificing so much for our family!!!! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

Grandma comes to visit

My mom came to visit us for my 30th birthday! It was so much fun having her here. We went to the beach, did some shopping, went out to lunch, got pedicures, Cory threw a surprise birthday party and just hung out and enjoyed eachother. Thanks mom, for coming to visit, we hope you can come visit again soon!!

The Beach

We went to the Beach this weekend with some friends. We had such a great time despite the long drive in traffic on the way there and on the way home, and the slight tragedy we had to Bailey's foot. (Sorry you guys had to spend those 3 hrs at the after hrs clinic). We are looking forward to going this summer again. Oh and Thanks Bonnie for taking the pictures since I forgot my camera!

My kids

I am so in love with my kids. And as difficult as they can be sometimes I wouldn't give them up for anything. They are constantly making us laugh and smile. The thought of them puts a smile on my face every day. I just love them so much. Here are a few pictures I took of them recently. Oh and a video....aren't they just cute?

Our Home: Part II

I was planning on posting more pictures after my last post quite quickly, but you all know how motherhood goes and running a household. So I am know getting back to it. I just have to start by saying...I love my home. There are however some things that need major improving. And as of right now I am happy with how things are coming along. They are taking a little bit longer than I would like them to, but I guess you have to have both time and money and most of the time I seem to never have either. My latest project has been my laundry room. I'm loving it, not loving it so much that it makes me want to actually DO laundry, but love it nonetheless.
