My attempt at Christmas pictures didn't go so well (my camera isn't working), but I did get some ok ones of the kids.

Hell has offically frozen over...

It's snowing here in South Texas!! It is crazy...it sort of stuck on the car but not too much on the ground...it officially feels like winter.

It's Christmas at our house

We finally got our tree and decorated it last night! I love this time of year and one of our favorite things is to decorate the tree with the kids. We put on Christmas music and get out all of the ornaments and decorate. We take turns each year with the kids as to who gets to put the angel on top, this year it was Aurora. Sorry for the blurry pictures, Noah dropped my camera right before they put it up and I couldn't get the camera to work right. The picture of the wreath is the one I made last night. i was so proud of myself...I even used branches from our Christmas tree. I know that they will be dead in about a week, so I will have to figure out what I'm going to do, but it was so fun and I loved the way it turned out....it was my first, so maybe with practice they will look even better. Oh, and the picture of Grant is him helping decorate the tree:)

Happy Birthday Janalyn

Yesterday we threw a surprise birthday party for my friend Janalyn's 30th birthday. We all met at my friend Stephanie's house and then Janalyn came thinking she was coming to meet Stephanie and Amy to go to a movie. He husband was so good at keeping a secret and she had no clue! We all hung out and ate yummy appetizers (thanks Steph and Amy), and watched Janalyn open her presents. We then went to Cheesecake Factory and ate the best guacamole egg roles and cheesecake and had the wonderful waiters sing happy birthday to Janalyn, Stephanie, and Terri. It was such a great night! Thanks to all who came and made this milestone birthday a great one for her!!!
